There are fewer and fewer family estates, yet the largest vineyard in Pomerol has belonged to the same family for nearly five centuries.
Here is a souvenir of the family gathering held last month, at which 38 cousins under the age of 35 came from all over France to meet up at Château de Sales.
With beautifully complex aromas and flavours, Château de Sales has outstanding purity of fruit, a full-bodied texture and an elegant freshness.
On the palate, it strikes a harmonious balance between smoothness and succulence, underpinned by fine, delicate tannins.

We are proud to have contributed to the success of the X-Wine Contest that took place on 5 February at Château-Figeac on the initiative of the École Polytechnique wine club.
Once a year, this tasting contest brings together fifteen wine clubs from prestigious French and international schools and universities.
