Two world’s best sommeliers at Château de Sales

On March 7th, we had the pleasure of welcoming members of the Essen and Stuttgart Chapters of the Commanderie de Bordeaux wine fraternity, in the company of Markus del Monego (Best Sommelier of the World 1998) and Marc Almert (Best Sommelier of the World 2019). Our guests particularly appreciated the 2018, 2017 and 2010 vintages served during the lunch, as well as the tasting that followed.

Pruning, an important stage in the vine growth cycle

Their purpose is to select the batches which will make it into the final blend of the Grand Vin, Château de Sales, and the second label, Château Chantalouette, and to see how they behave together once blended.
